Creator Economy Startup AppX Acquires Website Building Platform Superpage

Deal will help creators launch their websites and online businesses in 10 minutes

To help creators create and run their online businesses seamlessly, creator economy startup AppX announced that it has acquired website building platform for creators – super.page for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will help creators launch their online businesses in less than 10 minutes. Creators will also have the ability to create their mobile apps after setting up their websites on super.page.

Founded in October 2020, super.page is a unique website builder for internet influencers. Since its inception, over 2,000 creators have already used the platform to launch their websites and are currently monetizing on their superpages through products such as video calls, ebooks, and affiliate stores.

Commenting on the ad, Sameer Sadana, Founder and CEO, AppXsaid, “The creator economy is growing significantly, and this acquisition is one of many steps AppX is taking to empower them. We were really impressed with what the Superpage team was building and their growth. We also plan to make more such acquisitions in the near future of companies that create exciting products for creators.”

Following the acquisition, super.page founders – Vyshnavi Mudumby and Srivatsa Mudumby will join AppX and lead the growth, product and technology verticals within AppX. The company also plans to launch products such as NFTs, workshops, courses, podcasts, and newsletters for creators to host and sell on their superpages.

AppX empowers its creators to pursue their passion and generate revenue. The platform works with creators in areas such as Edtech, fitness, games and skill building and has a network of over 3,000 creators, using AppX to monetize their social media communities. Creators and influencers have already earned over US$10 million so far using products created by AppX. The acquisition comes as AppX recently announced it raised $1.3 million in a funding round led by YCombinator.
